During the last school year, a body of Grade 12 students - all avid science learners - gathered together to discuss a school wide event to promote science. This idea exponentially expanded as the science department became engrossed with the event very quickly. With the department on board, grade 11 enthusiastic science students soon followed and suddenly the whole school became involved. Subsequently, the first Science Olympics turned out to be a huge success! Now with the former grade 12 students graduated, it is up to the new group of grade 12 students - equally if not more passionate about science - to carry on the torch and continue this exciting young tradition.   â€‹â€‹
