Introductory Demonstrations​

These demonstrations are designed to captivate, engage and dazzle the audience. Some demos include audience participation.
In this activity students must answer a series of question within a given time frame. The questions will be based on grade 8 and 9 science curriculum. At the end of the game, the group with the most points will be victorious. Students will also get to show off their general science knowledge.
In this fun entertaining activity, students are given a limited budget of a fictional currency to purchase a set of materials and build a bridge that can withstand the greatest amount of weight possible. Students must be wary of what they purchase, as some materials are proven to be more withstanding than others. Budding engineers, designers, architects and economists can all collaborate together for this one.
Inspired by forensics science, the CSI AY presents a crime scene that tests the wit of students by enabling them to work together, utilize available equipment, and solve challenging clues all to solve the crime.
